Leadership Team

Azar Zaidi

CEO and Founder

Azar Zaidi is the CEO and Founder of Bond Orthodontic Partners. He has supported and led healthcare practice models for over two decades. Early is his career, Azar founded a management organization to advise independent private practices with startup and transition services. This organization was eventually sold to a larger practice management consulting firm, where he joined as a managing partner.

Azar then joined Pacific Dental Services, where he helped establish and lead the new market development and specialties divisions. During that time, PDS grew from 160 locations to over 700 locations across 22 states. Azar recognized there was a need to build a model to support financial sponsors and doctor-led models within the space. As founder of the Healthcare Advisory Shop, he served as an operating advisor, executive, and board member for over 30 organizations in the medical and dental service organization sectors. After multiple roles as COO for established and emerging dental service organizations, Azar has focused his sights on Bond Orthodontic Partners to become the most recognized and respected orthodontic partnership model in the space.

Having undergone surgically related orthodontic treatment as a child, dentistry has had a profound impact on Azar’s life. He is passionate about building a business career in the dental space. Azar has served as an advocate for the independent private practitioner working alongside many state and national trade organizations to lobby for clinician empowerment and autonomy. Today he remains steadfast on the value of doctor partnership models and building a best-in-class model that evolves the industry.

Sheila Bracker

COO and Co-Founder

Sheila Bracker is the COO and Co-Founder of Bond Orthodontic Partners. She has spent the past 18 years focused exclusively on specialty dental services in the DSO space. Most recently, Sheila provided management consulting services to mid-size orthodontic DSOs supporting the design and development of operational infrastructure to scale the business.
Sheila also served as an expert orthodontic advisor to private equity firms on acquisition-related due diligence. Prior to that role, Sheila spent 15 years at Pacific Dental Services (PDS), focused on building a business support model to grow and scale orthodontic and pediatric business lines across the U.S. Within this role, Sheila was responsible for managing operations for 280 orthodontic offices and 95 pediatric dentistry offices across 24 states. Before her time with Pacific Dental Services, Sheila worked in the outpatient physical therapy sector. Sheila now brings this operational depth in the orthodontic space to help Bond Orthodontic Partners establish best-in-class operational and support services.

Scott Kabbes

Executive Chairman

Scott has served BPOC as a board member, senior executive advisor and operating partner since 2009. Scott is currently a board member and investor in Home Care Delivered and Health Ecommerce, and has also served as a board member for Tidi Products, Southern Anesthesia and Surgical, Preferred Home Care and Scrip Hessco.

Prior to BPOC, Scott served as a board member and investor in Heartland Dental Care and as President of Patterson Dental Supply. He also founded EagleSoft, Inc. and was CEO when Patterson purchased EagleSoft in 1997, and was President of PSI (a subsidiary of Colgate Palmolive), a veterinary practice management software company.

Brandie Warren

Brandie Warren

Chief Financial Officer

Brandie Warren is the CFO of Bond Orthodontic Partners. She has more than twenty years in finance and accounting, most recently with a private equity backed healthcare services company.

She has experience as a management consultant focused on process improvement and spent the first years of her career in Big 4 accounting.
Brandie received a BS in Accounting from Lebanon Valley College and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Marcela Truxal

Vice President, Operations

Marcela Truxal is the Vice President of Operations for Bond Orthodontic Partners. She has over 17 years of experience in both medical and dental spaces. Marcela’s career started in medical device sales where she worked with spine and orthopedic surgeons. After five successful years, she decided to move into the dental industry, where she has held key roles in the DSO and private practice space.

Most recently, Marcela was a Regional Business Director at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center, where she led the operations and sales of the largest region with $85M in annual revenue. Marcela’s servant leadership philosophy inspired her to join Bond as she is passionate about building collaborative partnerships with teams that share the same vision.

Bond Andrews Bond Orthodontic Partners

Bond Andrews

Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management

As Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management, Bond Andrews is responsible for overseeing the daily revenue cycle management and credentialing functions of Bond Orthodontic Partners. Bond has more than 20 years of extensive revenue cycle experience in both healthcare and dental spaces.

Most recently, Bond served as a revenue cycle and practice management expert for large private-equity backed companies with a focus on building and centralizing key revenue cycle management services. She has also managed revenue cycle operations for over 200 clinics across 28 states. Early in Bond’s career, she managed general dentistry and specialty dentistry practices.

Brooke Newton

Vice President, Marketing

Brooke Newton is the Vice President of Marketing for Bond Orthodontic Partners. She has more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of marketing, including brand management, strategy, public relations, consumer research, and outreach via digital, social, community and print media.

Most recently, Brooke was the Vice President of Marketing at a large comprehensive physician management services organization with a network of high-quality physicians. Brooke oversaw marketing and advertising for 16 local brands along with a corporate business-to-business brand.

Having lost her only brother at the young age of thirteen, Brooke saw the impact that the healthcare industry has on families and knew her calling was to be a part of changing lives on a daily basis. Soon after, Brooke started her own Not-For-Profit organization, For the Love of Ryan, which educates the public about the importance of Organ Donation.

Brian Christensen, CFA

Senior Director, Business Development

Brian Christensen is the Senior Director of Business Development for Bond Orthodontics Partners. He has several years of experience working with physician-led healthcare service organizations. Brian’s career started in investment banking and financial consulting where he advised on strategic growth for several physician-led healthcare companies.

Most recently, Brian was at US Oral Surgery Management where he helped grow the organization into the largest oral surgeon group in the United States. Brian is passionate about speaking and building relationships with entrepreneurial doctors that are interested in growing their practice with a strategic partner.
